This year, the US Imagine Cup finals were hosted at Microsoft’s Mount View Campus in California.
The event opened up with a keynote from Dan’l Lewin, Microsoft’s Strategic and Development Vice President here in Mountain View. He inspired the youth to continue doing great things and use their imagination to create viable solutions to solve the world’s toughest problems. And boy did the students rise to the occasion!

NASA to host Jan 15th broadcast on Curiosity’s progress

It has been five months since the magnificent launch and landing of Curiosity, the first nuclear powered rover. The public has anxiously waited for what discoveries the rover has found, and now today (Jan 15th) at 10 am PST, NASA will host a media teleconference discussing these discoveries and giving an update on it’s mission.

I am off to Mars!

Last year I had the chance to JPL’s Open house that they host every year. Each year JPL opens many of their laboratories to the public and puts on demonstrastions of the newest technology they developed for their projects.
