See you later WWU

Today, was my last day of finals here at Walla Walla University. Now I only have to work and pack, then I will depart from here on Thursday.

Usually, I am pretty good with change and doing something different. But this time it's different. I haven't even left the Men's Dorm, yet I already feel a little down.

I attribute this fact, to me meeting some amazing and wonderful people here at this school. Andrew Bartley, Mark  Hildebrand, Mitchelle Walle, Eric Fiedler, and  Zach parks , always keeping it real and doing pranks on me day and night. Sure I get a little aggrevated but at least there is never a dull moment with those guys. Then there is the Bechtels. They are always being goofy, and hosting amazing events such as their bi-weekly smoothie nights. Also, Bryson and Bridget are people I look up to when it comes to life and they're opinions I greatly respect.Of course I can not leave out the Family Dinner group, hosted by Tristinn, Casey, Candice, and Annie Palumbo. Those dinners were always memorable and lots of fun. My coworkers in the Dorm, you have been very understanding of my strange nature and have made this year as an RA ; definitely one to remember! Love you guys! Last but not least, Josh Boram and Rachel Liem. You two are amazing not just b/c you threw me a b-day party but because you both are very dear to me as friends. Josh we may have meet as potential business partners, but in the end we became two close buds who are there for one another. Rachel, you are just rad. Not only are you an SM as well, but you are also very kind and ready to go on any awesome adventures and do new things. I wish you and Josh all the best this year! :)

As you can see there have been many people who have made this year quite enjoyable and that spiced up my Junior year here at WWU. Many I haven't mentioned, because if I were; this blog post would be at least 100 pages long, full of memories and good times shared by people who have come to admire and adore. I do not want to loose contact with any of you that have met, and would like to stay in touch with every single one of you. For you all have made an impact on my life whether you know it or not, and I am happy to call each of you friend.

It is for that reason, that I want you, my friends and family members, to write memories of you and I.They don't have to be exactly happy memories, but ones that do hold a lot of meaning and are very memorable of you and I. These will help when I feel down, homesick or lonely and keep you all on my mind while I am serving as a Student Missionary in Peru. Write them down in the comment section below.

One of my friends in the Philippians once said "There are no goodbyes, only see you laters".

This is not a goodbye my friends, only a see you later till sometime in the future. I will miss you all during my time in Peru and hope that you all will stay in contact with me. I also hope that this year and the coming, will bring new joys and adventure in your life, and more importantly you will continue your walk with Jesus.

  1. I remember sitting on the side of the road with you and two others, at night, in the middle of nowhere, in a small Suzuki Esteem when some random car pulled up behind us and stayed there for forever with its lights on, then pulled out and sped-off without a word.
